Makita has extended its mitre and table saw range with the launch of an entry-level 255mm mitre saw. The new Makita MLS100 will have a list price of 155 quid, with a variety of features.

Cutting performance of the portable Makita mitre saw is good, with a 3 inch maximum depth of cut across a 5 inch plank at 900, and 2 inch maximum depth of cut on maximum 450 left bevel angle.
