The Sika Solid Wood Floor Installation Kit provides tradesmen with everything they will need to fit a 20m2 floor, in one handy pack. The kit includes SikaBond T53 adhesive, which makes light work of fixing solid or engineered wood planks, boards or industrial parquet.
The Sika Solid Wood Floor Installation Kit comes with a professional application gun, 10 x 2m2 glue packs and two re-usable pre-cut nozzles.
The SikaBond T53 is fast curing offering a strong bond to any floor surface. It is especially suitable for problematic woods such as beech and the high performance adhesive also absorbs sounds vibration.
Fixing solid wood floors with an adhesive means less work, as there is no need for wooden battens and nails, and no need to raise skirting boards or doors.
Sika elastic adhesive systems also keep timber planks tightly in place. As the products remain permanently elastic they allow for the woods natural movement, to ensure long lasting performance.
The Sika Wood Floor Installation Kit can also be combined with the Sika Layer-Mat. The 5mm thick synthetic foam mat has pre-cut rectangular slots, symmetrically placed, to be filled with adhesive. The added cushioning of the mat, combined with the SikaBond T53 elastic adhesive, provides a high sound dampening effect. One kit and one roll of Sika Layer Mat is enough for a 12.5m2 area.
