CDM Regs - new course launched

A new course on the new Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 has been launched by the National House-Building Council.

The course, 'CDM Awareness', examines the roles and responsibilities of each duty holder under the new regulations.

The CDM regulations were introduced in April this year and affect every aspect of health and safety on site, for every role in the industry. This includes clients, designers, developers, and contractors as well as those in technical roles.

"In order to ensure compliance with the regulations it is essential that everyone involved understands their responsibilities and how each role inter-relates with every other role," said the NHBC's Health and Safety Manager, Simon Mantle.

Places are available for delegates to attend the course at:
Milton Keynes - 16 November 2007
Bristol - 22 November 2007
Falkirk - 27 November 2007
Wakefield - 28 November 2007
Sevenoaks - 04 December 2007
London - 05 December 2007
Tamworth - 11 December 2007
