    Bathroom Taps Wanted!

I've roped my neighbour into helping me fix up my tired bathroom, and fix the endless leaking taps only to find that the fitting are so old they don't make replacement parts.

I'm wanting something that looks like this , but not at the same price. Will look at second hand fittings if parts are available.

You may buy some new things in your bath it they are too old and you can not replace parts of them, but you have to protect your family from the dangers of shower and faucet scalding accidents if you are doing this by your own.

I had also an old tap but I found on ebay another one and replaced it. You may try to find the one from the above site on a second market for a lower price.. but be aware not to get something worst.

Thanks for the tips lolitad. Very good point about scalding accidents, I could never forgive myself if anything happened because of being cheap.

I noticed there were some "shops" on ebay selling new fittings that we a bit cheaper than the local ones. I don't know why I didn't look there first!

    Cheers M

Are you planning on doing this yourself DaddyO, or getting a plumber in?

A burst/leaking pipe is not something I recommend.

DaddyO what have you done in the end? Have you solved your problems by yourself or did you got a plumber?
