Bazza, are you Australian? Anyway, I'm looking for re-claimed railway sleepers. Any idea where I can get a hold of about 10? We're doing some work on our garden and want to get them cheap as possible. Shame I didn't see you ad earlier as we've just finished the paving around the edges.

Depends what you mean by cheap. I seem to remember we bought ours from http://www.railwaysleeper.com  - a fantastic range (although they don't seem to have the very glamorous sounding Russian ones any more that we bought) and a great explanation of the different kinds of treatments. A bit of a minefield.

    Anyway - good luck!

    Hi daddy0.

Actually I'm Kiwi - it's OK, happens all the time.

Anyway, if you're after only 10 you have a couple of options.

    1) Re-think your plans, 10 pavers won't go far

    2) Try this site - http://www.supplies2go.co.uk/ it's a good builders' surplus site that has odd bits and pieces that have been left over from time to time.
